- - red bud vase, lip gloss and flowers from Missy I have to say that it was an amazing birthday party. Luckily i wore my red dress to go along with all my presents. I bought a tiara (which i promptly broke within two minutes of wearing it) - i've wanted one for a while, plus i think i can pull the look off every once in a while. We played Cranium and it lasted a TAD too long, but my team ended up winning with the question on how to spell Jeopardy. We made a birthday gingerbread house loaded with frosting and candy, but the construction proved to be a feat of strength that none of us could master. Damn that gingerbread house! oh and there were meatballs too. Within 15 minutes of going to bed one of the partners from the firm called to see if the party was still jumping. I honestly didn't expect him to come, so it was a surprise. Missy and Dave have gone home and my bro just gave me a call. So to celebrate my ACTUAL birthday i think that i might take a walk over to the Clay Cafe to pick up my piece, do some laundry and see what Shaun is up to. maybe i'll watch Harry Potter and the Prisoner from Azkaban - AGAIN. oh my gosh, i do love my birthday an awful lot. Last year at this time i was on Gibson beach on the Great Ocean Road on the way to Melbourne and it was 32 degrees. |
